This Seller Policy outlines the rules, requirements, and guidelines for vendors selling on Clohing.lk.
By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.


1. Seller Registration & Eligibility

  • Sellers must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including:
    • Full Name / Business Name
    • Contact Details (phone number & email)
    • Bank Account Details for payments
  • Only sellers who meet our quality standards and product requirements will be approved.
  • Clohing.lk reserves the right to reject or suspend any seller who violates our policies.

2. Product Listing Guidelines

  • Products must be clothing-related (including shoes, bags, and accessories).
  • Listings must include:
    • Accurate product title & description
    • High-quality images (without watermarks or unrelated logos)
    • Correct size, color, and material details
    • Clear pricing in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)
  • Prohibited listings:
    • Counterfeit or fake branded items
    • Offensive or inappropriate designs
    • Items violating copyright or trademark laws
  • All items must be new unless otherwise specified in the product description.

3. Pricing & Commissions

  • Sellers are free to set their own prices but must keep them competitive and consistent.
  • Clohing.lk charges a [ 5% + රු.10 ] commission on each sale (commission rate will be shared upon registration).
  • Commission is deducted automatically before seller payouts.

4. Order Processing & Shipping

  • Sellers must:
    • Ship orders within [2] business days after order confirmation.
    • Use reliable courier services with tracking.
    • Update order status in the seller dashboard once shipped.
  • Delayed shipping or unfulfilled orders can lead to penalties or account suspension.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Sellers must comply with Clohing.lk’s Refund Policy.
  • If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, the seller is responsible for:
    • Replacing the product OR
    • Issuing a full refund
  • Sellers are responsible for return shipping costs if the return is due to their error.

6. Seller Conduct

  • Sellers must:
    • Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours.
    • Maintain professionalism and respectful communication with buyers.
    • Ensure all products meet the described quality standards.
  • Misleading descriptions, fake promotions, or fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination.

7. Payments

  • Payments are made to sellers after order completion.
  • Payouts will be made directly to the bank account provided during registration.
  • Commission and any applicable fees will be deducted before payment.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

Clohing.lk reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

  • Repeated policy violations
  • Selling prohibited or counterfeit goods
  • Poor order fulfillment rate
  • Fraudulent activities

9. Policy Updates

  • Clohing.lk may update this policy at any time.
  • Sellers will be notified via email of any significant changes.
  • Continued use of the platform means you agree to the updated policies.
